So beautifully written. My heart is with you. I worked as an admin manager at a Mental Health Team in downtown Vancouver, Canada for over 30 years. I got to know so, so many young people with schizophrenia and their families. I loved many of them, and my heart often broke when their care would hit a snag, or things went wrong. But always, when parents and family were strong and stayed a part of their care, the outcome was always much brighter than for those who had to walk that road alone. Stay strong. It will be okay. “Hiring a 3rd party to play role of conservator or guardian.” ⚠️ CAUTION!
3rd party can mean the attorney that slides it right through the courts. Don’t give away your rights!
